Mum & Baby Classes

Our Mama Glow classes are calming, nurturing and supportive and designed with both mum and baby in mind. Classes offer an opportunity to use yoga and massage to aid your baby’s physical development, co-ordination and balance and also to help you create space, fluidity, strength and balance in both body and mind through yoga and Pilates. Feeding, changing and comforting your baby when you need to through the sessions is always encouraged, with the ability to adapt poses to include baby. Maternity leave is a special time, spent deepening your relationship with your baby but also creating new friendships to find support during a time of change and self-discovery. We always make time to have a cup of tea and cake or biscuits at the end of class so that you can relax and connect with other mums.

Mama Glow - Postnatal Yoga & Pilates

Time to focus on you while having your baby on the mat at all times. This 75 minute class is the perfect way to return to gentle exercise postpartum, using yoga to revitalise and gently strengthen the body and mind, finding postures to release tight shoulders, neck and back muscles. We also work to stabilise our cores and pelvic floors using Pilates exercises specifically for postnatal recovery and learn breathing techniques to aid stress resilience. All followed by tea, biscuits and a chat with other new mums. From 8 weeks postpartum.

Mama Glow - Mama & Baby Yoga

Tuesday - Ruislip 11:00am (BaseBox Studio, HA4 6LR)

In the 60 minute class, we begin with some gentle baby yoga stretches, giving your little one a head start on their balance, coordination and motor skills. We then move into Mama yoga, using fun and creative ways to practice classic yoga postures together with your baby, building strength and finding restoration for the postnatal body as well as providing stimulation and socialisation for babies. Class includes time for tea and biscuits at the end to help you create those all important mum bonds. Designed for babies 6 months and up.

Baby Glow - Baby Massage

5 Week Course - Pinner - Monday 1:45pm (Eastcote House Gardens, HA5 2FE)

Weekly Classes - Ruislip - Thursday 1:15pm (Manor Farm Stables, HA4 7SU)

One of the best ways to connect and bond with your baby early on is to practice baby massage. Our sessions cover lots of techniques to help soothe baby’s little aches such as reflux, wind and teething, building a full massage routine that you can continue at home as baby grows. We also incorporate gentle baby yoga stretches to support their cognitive development and gross motor skills, as well as stretches for mum to ease muscle tensions that often come with having a newborn. The 5 week course comes with a pot of cold-pressed, extra virgin massage oil and a handout with the full routine are included. Both classes are from 8 weeks to 6 months.

Mama Glow - Pregnancy Yoga & Pilates

Practicing yoga while pregnant is a wonderful way to carve out time in your busy week to breathe, move and connect with your growing baby. We use gentle movement flowing through yoga postures to relieve the aches that come along with pregnancy as well as use pregnancy safe Pilates exercises to build strength in body and mind to help prepare for birth and beyond. We also work through various breathing and calming techniques to help you during labour and into motherhood. We take time for tea after class, offering you the chance to connect with other mamas-to-be, share experiences & support each other in this most precious time of your life. From 12 weeks pregnant.
